Celebrites/world reknowned entertainers came from near and far to debut the collections with all the royalty/international socialites who are always dressed to the nines. It’s an expected given. Buyers of every big dept store and high end boutiques from all over the world. The press from every prestigious publication made it to the tents. If you were one of the lucky attendees you would have seen the well known personal shoppers and stylists in the mix. The stylists to the stars were in the crowds of the V.I.P. Blazers, and fitted tailored jackets were a must. No matter the price, you at least needed one for that business meeting/networking event/dinner party/ meeting your fiancĂ© parents or even a first date to a art reception. You must look intelligent and beautiful at a recession. You can not just be gorgeous you have to have a career. No more slacks or jeans that are looking a bit worn. At least shorts will never go out. Collision Fashion Event

On March 28th, we co-sponsored , and co produced The Collision Fashion Event. Held in the Parkslope section of Brooklyn(NY) at the Crossroads Supper Cub. While the audience was minimal, we did live up to our ideals:

Promote: Well, we need to do this better. But the audience that attended were in for a treat. The good news was that everyone loved the show. Or next show will be held the third week in Sept. You want to be there!

Inform: We introduced the audience to five aspiring designers, hailing from all parts of the five boroughs. We found a designer that was for all intents & purposes unknown; in fact this was his first show. We found another whose designs are going to be everywhere someday. The work was truly inspiring. We even got to see , and show, the advancement of a couple of our veteran designers.

Inspire: We helped choose the models for this show. While we actually had pretty good models for this show, we had an 11yr old young lady whose walk was fierce, and four others who have always wanted to model. As surprise would have it, those four models stole the show. They came prepared to walk the catwalk-the way a model should. We hope to have one of them featured on our magazine's print debut cover. Look for more on this soon.

Welcome back

Hello again.
As you've probably noticed, we changed our format again-but this time, with a purpose.
Over the last six months or so, we've met some people of various backgrounds, experiences, & goals of their own, who want to be a small part of what's been started. We have various blogs from various people-all with their take on the fashion world. We even have the distinct pleasure of adding to our ranks, the expertise of fashion designer and commentator Esther Nash.

Going forward, we expect to add more people to continue making this blog even stronger. In fact our motto is:"Promote; Inform; Inspire." Our sincere hope is that we will be able to meet your expectations quicker & better.

Lastly be on the lookout for our magazine-soon to be in print.

Sincerely,
Darryl
